• hello,
    my original image saturation but krpano image not saturation. not vivid. its pale. WHAT is the problem?
    for example:

    MY # Basic Settings
    # Documentation: https://krpano.com/tools/kmakemultires/config?version=116
    # krpano tools 1.16

    # always embed the viewer licenses
    embedlicenses=true

    # kproectcl tool settings (for embedded licenses and standalone swf setting)
    kprotectclparameters=-nomb -swfsize=900x600

    # path to the base krpano.swf file
    krpanoswf=../krpano.swf

    # image filtering and compression settings
    filter=LANCZOS
    jpegquality=100
    jpegsubsamp=444
    jpegoptimize=true

  • Hi,

    convert your images to sRGB colorspace, krpano doesn't do any colorspace detection or conversion.

    Btw - no related to the colors, but this setting here is extremely bad - it will only result in extremely big and therefore very slow loading files:

    jpegquality=100

    It's better use a compromise between image quality and file size! Even a setting of 95 should be much better than 100 with practically no visual difference.

    Best regards,
    Klaus

  • thank you very much Klaus my ps settings cmyk but I set RGB now not problem.

  • Hi,

    The color sub-sampling is not that important, it doesn't affect the filesize that much - it depends on personal preference and on the image contents - e.g. if your images have a lot blue or red details at pixel level and will be zoomed to 100% or more, choosing 444 and a lower quality would be better than 422 and a higher quality.

    I think this article here explains it very good:
    http://users.wfu.edu/matthews/misc/…gChromaSub.html

    An image from that article:

    See also this page to see what 444, 422 and 420 means and the color channels were scaled for these settings:

    Klaus
