I am using 1.0.8 beta7 and would like to know if there is a krpano setting to remove the error message display. The error message display I am referring to is the black background with white text error message that displays over the center of the panorama view when there is a load error (not the error log). I have tried the krpano showErrors="false" but that just seems to disable the error log. I have also tried using the event onloaderror and I do get my callback on the event but it does not remove the error display for me.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Is it possible to remove the Error Message display?

Quote
logkey="false"
disables now also the debugging keys
note - these keys are only available in the beta versions

I think perhaps I am missing something. But isn't the logkey attribute for the error log?
I am trying to get rid of the error message that displays in the center of the view when a load error is encountered.
The log is already off so that is not a problem. -
why not upgrade to beta 8 ?
and second, can you give us an URL ?
that error you say, only appears on critical errors... so maybe you hae something wrong on your xml ?

What I would like to do is control the error handling UI in my own plugin rather than use the krpano error UI. So I am purposely causing the error with a bad xml url in the load request to krpano.
I can upgrade to beta 8 but I did not see any way to control this error UI in the release notes, so is it actually possible to control the error UI in beta 8? Should the onloaderror event work for using my own error UI?

Hi,
this is the "FATAL ERROR" message, it happens only when no xml was found,
currently there is no way to disable/redirect this error, but I will add a possibility to one of the next releases, best regards,

I would really like to be able to disable all error messages also. It's just a bad user experience. Ideally it should be a totally controlled and switchable user interface.

the next beta 9 has a new and better download retry system on server busy errors,
this should solve such errors,I would really like to be able to disable all error messages also. It's just a bad user experience. Ideally it should be a totally controlled and switchable user interface.
normally the showing of the error can be disabled (showerrors="false") but when the servers fails to deliver the first xml file, and there is no information if the file exists or the server is just busy, what should it do?
a way would be to embed the first xml file (with the kprotect tool) and disable the showing of the errors there,
best regards,

where would we put that? display? controls? view?

This was the answer I wanted as I get error messages when I move from portrait to landscape on my phone. Hopefully this is still current
