[ Sorry ... I've posted in the wrong forum thread ]
Hi,
In this post someone got confused by the fact that the convert to cube/sphere tools don't keep color profile information : HELP!, I'm experiencing color shifts!!!
I guess most photographers have their color management correctly set-up in photoshop so they would not complain about that ? This is more a suggestion than a request, though I would find it useful myself.
an option to keep color profile informations in krpanotools' output images ?

Hi,
(I have moved the thread to the tools feature requests )
I'm already working on this, and maybe also with an optionally automatic conversion to sRGB when creating the jpeg tiles.
Best regards,

Hi Klaus,
Is this something that is still in the works?
Thanks,
Martin

Yes, that's still in work (the automatic sRGB conversion and also the profile copying).

Hello,
just a quick questionWill be available also the profile copying without the conversion to sRGB?
This is useful if you want to visualize a wider gamut than sRGB with wide gamut monitors
For example, in this pano I have incorporated the ProphotoRGB profile in all the tiles (with photoshop, Edit-->Assign profile, to all the tiles, save as with ICC profile incorporated)
http://www.photoactivity.com/test/pano3/HTML5.html
http://www.photoactivity.com/test/pano3/FLASH.htmlAs you can see, the HTML5 version has the corrected color, with browser like chrome or firefox with the color management activated.
In the flash version you see desaturated color because the player handles the tiles as sRGB images. The differeces are bigger if you have a wide gamut monitor
So, when the tiles are thousand, should be useful if KRPano does it, instead of a batch after the generation of the tiles
Thanks in advance for your time
