Hi,
Is it possible to blur the panorama ? when showing a text-style for instance
Thanks !
You could load a plugin to use as a mask and set the blendmode to something that might give you the effect you want.
ref: http://www.krpano.com/docu/xml/#plugin
ref: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/201/langr….html#blendMode
you could also load a semi-transparent png file to "shade" the pano as well... and not bother with the blendmodes.
i was wondering how that would be possible. semi transparent mask would be best i think. would then act somewhat like a java greybox or modal box functions.
Thanks Graydon for your answer.
I understand what you mean, but I think the result will be very different than the blur function of FPP.
Actually, is it possible to blur the panorama from XML ? (I've searched and found nothing, so I presume it's not ! )
would there be any way to load the preview tiles at certain times would that not cause a blur effect?
Hi,
currently blurring the pano image is not possible,
I will add that soon, but I can't recommend using it,
blurring is really a heaving processing actions, this will really drop the framerate
when used in a an fullscreen or near fullscreen window
Quotewould there be any way to load the preview tiles at certain times would that not cause a blur effect?
that's a great idea!
I will also add a way to blend the preview pano in, from the performance perspective this
will be much better!
best regars,
Klaus

I didn't know that.
But (for me) the idea is to show blur panorama when showing text or image, and then deactivated the panorama ... So It's not really a problem with framerate !
okay, for a still image, when flash doesn't need to redraw it every frame,
than it's not so a big problem
Is it meanwhile possible?
