I can't find a shadow function, or I can see a kind of shadow (lightening) under the buttons of "options" and "edit".
I wish to use the shadow to distinguish the miniatures that appear on my pano.

You can achieve similar effects using the options of the textfield plugin http://www.krpano.com/plugins/textfield/
Depending upon what your miniatures are... you may just have to create the shadow in a graphics program with the images in the png format.
Post a link to a sample and someone might be able to comment on a preferred path.
Here you are the inks towards two small virtual tours :

I made the first one with FPP who has the " shadow " plugin (hotspot). The second, was made under KRPano. To distinguish it's miniatures from the bottom of the panorama, I had to apply white borders.
I thought about the shadows created in PS with the transparency of PNG, but the edges of the blurred shadow are not neat because of a weak resolution of miniatures.
I shall try the textfield plugin you were talking about.
Hi, a build-in support for effects like shadow, glow, blur, ... will come in one of the next 1.0.8 beta versions
Thank you Klaus ! KRPano is great !
