Unable to use krpano (newby)

  • Hi,

    I'm a newby. I'm unable to load my krpano flash object.

    I uses the trial version.

    This is my xml file :

    <image type="SPHERE" multires="true" tilesize="512">
    <level tiledimagewidth="256" tiledimageheight="256">
    <shpere url="tiles_%0y_%0x.jpg" />
    </level>
    </image>

    This is my html file :

    <html>
    <body>

    <script type="text/javascript">
    var swf = createswf("krpano.swf");
    swf.addVariable("xml", "xml.xml");
    swf.embed("krpanoDIV");
    </script>

    </body>
    </html>

    The file krpano.swf is in the folder.

    Anyone could help me please?

    thanks

  • Am I correct to say you have a 360x180
    Sphere image? If so, just drop it onto the make pano (normal) or make pano (multires) tools and it will output a working example and slice up your image for faster loading. Since you are working with the demo, it will watermark the images but you will be able to see the function.

  • I know I have read there is supposed to be support for psb files but I myself have not tried it. Maybe someone else can chime in on that, but if you convert an image to tif or jpg ( at least for testing ) all three bat files below work for me with both tif and jpg. Perhaps there are some limitations on psb type files.

    Make pano (normal)
    Make pano (multires)
    Make pano (tiled)

  • NOTE #1 : The bat file must be in the same folder as the file ktransform, or you can create a shortcut to the bat file. That works too.

    Note # 2: I am a windows user, so I am unsure of Mac procedures.

  • It works fine thanks

    If I don't have an exac 360/180 but I have a 360 (sure).

    Wich config can I used to create a 360 pano?

    I explain : when I rotate the view, it stop to the left or right panorama. is it possible to merge the left with the right image part when I'm to the left or right border?
