Hi all,
I'm trying to figure a way of replacing the black tripod hole with a picture. Do you know if there's one?
Thank you.

Hi,
ofcourse you need to make that picture in the first place.
There are tutorials here:
etc etc..
Happy learning!

I found the PTgui methods hard work and time consuming. I'd suggest just overlaying an image in KRpano, much easier. Even better, shoot so that you have good nadir cover, convert to cubic and then do an easy photoshop clone job on the flat jpegs.
Or another alternative: leave the PTgui panorama with the tripod image, convert to cubic in KRpano, and then drop an image over the top. So much easier than trying to patch in the distorted tile view in PTgui.
Thank you for your collaboration. I'm not sure if I understood what both of you said, but I'll try your ideas tomorrow. Still, what about video panoramas?
Here is a discussion about covering the nadir with an image. A sample can also be found in the beta 8 download package.

Hi,
here is the nadir logo example online:
https://krpano.com/examples/108b8…nadir-logo.html
you'll find the same example in the 1.0.8 beta download in the folder - examples / nadir-logo
basically it would be just a (distorted) hotspot at positon 0/90
xml:
<hotspot name="nadircap" url="cap.png" ath="0" atv="90" distorted="true" scale="1.0" enabled="false" />
best regards,
Klaus
Sorry, guys, but I should've said from the start that I'm trying to do this with a video panorama. I've been trying different ways but I can't do it. Any ideas?
Thank you.

Hi,
do you mean this krpano video pano version:
https://krpano.com/video/
sorry, but this version is based on a very old krpano version where distorted hotspots (which can be used as nadir cap) aren't available...
the integration of videos panos is planed now for the 1.0.9 release,
best regards,
Klaus
