possible bug in kmakemultires for linux

Hi Klaus!

I'm trying to use kmakemultires (of any version) on Debian like this:

./kmakemultires panos/index.jpg

it works alright but produces two similar sets of images:

index.tiles
index.jpg.tiles

in one run like if there were two input images - index.jpg and index.jpg.jpg ))

The problem seems to be in the "index" image name )) all the other names are handled okay))

Hi, the problem is that when i try to use ./kmakemultires ./index.jpg it produces two sets of tiles when it should produce only one - index.tiles ))
