Yes would rocks ! We have several sevral SurfacePro here but demoing krpano with it seriously lack gyro
-
Surface Pro 4 needs gyro support from krpano urgently! (bitte, bitte)
-
Apparently the stupid surface pro doesn't use a user agent to identify itself and thus suss capabilities. One would need to do some monitoring of the gyro data and then have it reset the interface for gyro versus autorotator which is the norm.

Could a quick fix perhaps be : 1. Detect possible client that could be surface pro x 2. init gyro 1 with all mouse controls also active.?
If you do encounter a surface, it should work, and if it's a desktop, it shouldn't have a 6 axis unit anyway, so who cares!
Perhaps it is a silly idea, I haven't targeted windows devices for dev. in a long time, but it used to be building from the top down in the good old days!.

It's not possible to detect the Surface Pro - it's like any other PC from detection perspective.
But I'm looking for solutions here.
Best regards,

Is there anyway to poll the data every second or two and then set onavailable?
I think more and more high end laptops are having tablet features (touch+gyro).
