first tap on poster isn't firing any event, onvideoplay or onclick ios and android

I tried putting a play button over the poster to give some queue for the tap, but I can't hide it without an event firing.
I used the inline example for the videoplayer.

oh well, it works pretty good. I worked around by putting a play button on the poster itself and calling that poster just for mobiles.

Hi, Sacha,

Now I'm struggling with the same issue - I made a "progress" bar for videoplayer.xml, it works fine, except on iOS the first click anywhere on screen triggers the video play (on poster), but onvideoplay is not triggered, so my progress bar stays empty until the second click on video. I wonder is there any chance to fix it. How can I set some layer as child element to the poster image of the video?

Klaus has a good action set that creates the video player plugin each time you use it. It's a good way to take control of the code without relying on the poster.
Just make your own hotspot to replace the functionality of the poster.
