Using only half (top or left side) of the video for the spherical mapping

Hi all,

Is there anyway via a custom plugin or krpano interface to map only half (top or left side) of the video being streamed (for the video plugin)? Is this possible? Does krpano expose uv coordinates or something similar?

This would allow one to view spherical stereo panos without splitting the video (I know that that is ideal, but this is a stopgap measure.)

Hi,

that's already possible with the 1.19 pre-release version - see here:
krpano 1.19 (Pre Release) - WebVR / MobileVR / Stereoscopic 3D Support (Oculus Rift, Google Cardboard, GearVR, ...)

Just use:
<image ... stereo="true" stereoformat="TB">
<sphere url="plugin:video" />
</image>

But due a small bug (a internal typo) currently only Top/Bottom videos (stereoformat="TB") can be used. The setting stereoformat="SBS" is currently ignored. That bug will be fixed in the next 1.19 pre-release.
