Whats the best way to find out if the screen center or any other arbitrary screen coordinate is inside a simple 4 sided polygon hotspot?

I guess it would be screentosphere and loops checking between coordinates?
What about a polygon that crosses the 360 boundary? Get distance would work only for spherical ranges..

That's still a spherical distance from the center.
If I click inside the polygon area from the corner I want to know.
