The bottom bars disappear when changing to landscape.. but if you accidentally touch the areas, they reappear.. Is there a way to hide them on touch without having to go from portrait to landscape again? Stupid iphones.

Hi,
use iOS 7.1 and the 'minimal-ui' viewport meta setting (enabled by default in all krpano html files since the final 1.17 version).
e.g.
<meta name="viewport" content="target-densitydpi=device-dpi, width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimal-ui" />When this setting is added in the html file and iOS 7.1 be used, then there will be a full fullscreen-mode in landscape mode and the bottom don't appear anymore when tapping at the bottom. The urlbar will be only shown when tapping on the top and then the window itself don't resize itself anymore. Additionally there is also more space in portrait mode.
Best regards,

Works like a charm Thanks a lot, Klaus

What to do now with IOS 8? does not work anymore!
-
Right, Apple has removed that unfortunately from iOS 8...
But there is also something good - the new iPhone 6 devices have new landscape modes, where clicking anywhere near the bottom doesn't bring up the Safari bars anymore...
From code/krpano-side there is nothing that could be changed here - that behavior itself is given from Apple and can't be changed.
Best regards,
Klaus -
ahh...come on Apple, finally we found a way to prevent that damn bar from popping up and now it returns?!
Just a matter of time until my customers starts to complain again about this *~%#|* bar....
