Problems with Firefox (29.0.1 the last version) Android

  • Hello, I have problems panoramic view on the latest versions of Firefox on Android.

The screen just does not load and goes black.

Here a link where you can see the problem:

and a screenshot of what happens.

In Chrome, Dolphin, etc, it works.

the mobile is a Nexus 5 with Android 4.4.1

  • Hi,

sorry, no idea... I don't have a Nexus 5 for testing, but on a S5 the pano is also not working correctly...

There might be some interference with the other content and scripts on the page, normal krpano panos are working fine in Android Firefox...

Maybe try stripping down the example step by step by removing things from the html file - or start with a simple plain krpano.html...

    Best regards,
    Klaus

  • Hello, I tried to eliminate functions that run javascript, and still not working.

My mobile is also a Nexus 5, with the latest version of Android, now is the version:
    4.4.3

Here you can access a version of the display with javascript functions canceled.

    http://es.woow360.com/portal/pano/vi…f74ebf8&movil=1

That is passed but NOT WORK ...

    Klaus, you have any idea??

I have also loaded the latest version of Krpano, but neither works.

    Greetings and thanks!

  • Sorry, still no idea... all other panos and pages are working fine, only your link seems to be problematic...

If you want you can send me the whole page as zip archive, then I can look at all files to see if there is something wrong there...

  • Hi,

this is a special case - Android Firefox only allows two WebGL contexts at the same time - and when a new context gets created the previous used one will be removed (and then the pano screens gos black).

krpano is currently using one WebGL context for the WebGL-support detection and one for the actual rendering, so two contexts are already in away and so only one pano could be displayed.

In the next release (1.19-pr14) this will be improved, that krpano will use only one WebGL context at all.

But due the Android Firefox limitations to only two WebGL contexts, there can be still only a maximum of two panos at the same time on the webpage...

    Best regards,
    Klaus
