I'm from a photographic/technology company who specialize in web
imaging. We are currently re-vamping our website and I'm researching
the possibility of having a Virtual Tour of our photographic studios
that provides high visual impact and an engaging source of information.
Krpano seems like a great tool for creating a customizable experience
but I'd like to find out if my goals are achievable.
Here are some of our ideas:
Dragging across the panorama swivels you round to 5 areas of the room instead of free dragging.
These areas are specific points of interest as they showcase our equipment.
We would like these to be animated hotspots similar to his example -
https://krpano.com/examples/116/e…activearea.html
When the mouse cursor hovers over a hot
spot, the object (A piece of photographic equipment) is highlighted
with a white outline indicating more information is available.
When selecting the hotspot we would like a video or interactive image to appear.
This is an example of the type of interactive image we would like -(http://www.spinme.co.uk/clients/website/sportssunglasses.htm).
We would need the virtual tour to be available to view on iPhone and tablet.
Is what I have described possible and does anyone have any guesses to roughly how much working time would his take?
Also are there going to be any issues with the hotspots and extra add-ons?
As we need to be cross platform to match our website, we need to make
sure the HTML 5 viewer is suitable and, by the looks of things certain
platforms have issues with loading the viewer https://krpano.com/docu/html5/
There's also a note about it requiring cubic images for it to work on
HTML5. Is this correct?
I would really appreciate your input and opinions.
Thank you
Alex
