close plugin

Yo people,

i can't find how to close a plugin when you start loading an other pano.. Like to do more simpleviewer's in one tour. Got the gallery in the second pano..
that works but it stay's when i load the next pano...

I've tried some in my actions to load next pano but *sad*

(when you go to the right (next pano) then the gallery loads)

i tried this remove plugin thing but i can't get it to work.. maybe i put it in the wrong place...

i thought in the place where the action moveto6 or so is, maybe after loading done.. *confused* *confused*

I like to make an gallery1.xml and a gallery2.xml and so on
...

the feature you guys are discussing at going to be critical for one of my up coming projects. I do not have an answer for you but will be trying it soon. Most of you are better coders than I but if i get lucky Ill be sure to report back.

Hi,

there are several methods to the remove plugins:

one would be to set "keep" to "false",
then on the next loadpano() call, all plugins with keep="false" will be removed automatically,
but this alone is not the optimal solution in the this case,

additionally call the "hidegallery" action before loading a other pano,
this closes the gallery and restores the pano state (freezeview(false)!) correct,

e.g.
- change keep to "false" for the "showgallery", "hidegallery" and "gallery" plugins,
- and add "action(hidegallery);" to every "moveto*" action:

then it should work
it would be also possible to remove a plugin with "removeplugin(pluginname);",
but that's shouldn't be necessary here,

mmmm...

it works but....

when click on gallery 1 (red camera) and it shows.. then close.. go to the right... there will be gallery 2 (blue camera) .... then it acts strange *confused* *confused* *confused*

but when i don't open gallery 1, gallery 2 acts normal..

to help this out in earlier case we changed in the (empty) gallery plugin keep to true... now we changed it back (changing makes no difference) may be i should remove plugin but where should i put that .. in the same action as the hide gallery thing?? and only for show gallery..

this seems to be a problem with the simpleviewer,
loading it a second time fails...

I'll check this out and try to find a solution...

Pb with simpleviewer in a virtual tour

Hi Tuur,


I have seen that you find a trick to resolve your problem. The simpleviewer gallery seems to work on every 360 of your virtual tour.
I have the same problem at this time ! The plugin works in the first 360, but when you move to the second one and you click on gallery link, the viewer doesn't load... just show Simple viewer loading bar and stop.

I appreciate all informations about that !
Have you find a solution Klaus ?

Hi Eric,

Here it works just fine... your tour..and looks nice...

Please make a button for autorotate to set on/off.

Simple viewer i get in every pano..

but remember.. just 1 simple gallery per tour! There are other ways to fix that.. Milotimbol fixed that with java..(?_)

Check the forum for that.

You open the gallery by clicking the person in the outside panorama. It works fine but if you then go inside and outside again it doesn't work anymore. The gallery won't load. Why is that?

Hi,

try adding - keep="true" - to gallery plugin and the open/close buttons,
unloading and reloading the simpleviewer plugin is unfortunately not possible,

Hi,

I present my panos usually in a lightbox4ward (version 1.1.0) window, which is a plugin for my TYPOlight-CMS (version 2.8). It works fine until I embed a simple viewer gallery in the pano. The viewer.swf gets loaded but the gallery.xml can't be found. Online and local use without the lightbox works out smoothly.
What's the problem?

Hi,

I'm not sure yet, but I think the Simepleviewer is looking in the folder of the html file for the gallery.xml...
and when your CMS is generating the pages with a different path, that can be the problem...

I imagined something like that. The pano seems to get raised on a higher level or something. The strange thing is, that the viewer.swf still is found, even though it is in the same folder as the gallery.xml. Is there a way to embed the simple viewer in the pano.swf via kprotect? I don't like it anyway to have these files naked on my server.
